You Shook Me All Night Long

The song “You Shook Me All Night Long” by AC/DC starts out with a guitar at a fairly medium tempo and then that is one of the pulses in the song. Then the drums kick in and that pulse remains the same throughout the entire song. The Tempo remains consistent all song at a fairly fast pace. The rhythm seems to be short and not too long. Each note is fairly short and not held for a long duration. The melody is pretty consistent and the pitch does not seem to go from high to low at all. The pitch remains the same throughout the entire song pretty much. I believe this is a polyphony because there are several melodies in the same at the same time. I think this song has a cyclical structure because the repetitions of patterns is pretty much the same throughout the entire song. The Harmony of the song is excellent. The guitars, drums, and bass all sound great together and each one sort of feeds off the other one making them sound excellent together. The timbre of the song is great because just by hearing the guitar it makes the song identifiable. The lead singers voice is so distinct that is clear it is AC/DC the moment you hear the singers voice. The musical genre is classic rock n roll.
