With so much work on my plate right now, I almost didn’t go to tonight’s “Dances for Dogs” belly dancing performance, but I’m glad I did! In this class, we have discussed everything from worldviews, paradigms, and identity, to culture shock and third cultures. We have papers and presentations and so many other things we have been working on all week. In my case, that work load included 3 major papers, planning for a presentation, and more. When he asked us what one of our favorite things about McDaniel is, one of the first things we all said was the professors. I had no idea how much work was really involved with putting on an event that included chapters from all over the district and 5 service projects all happening at once.
