It’s nice that the semester is over. Papers are in, projects are done, and there’s an entire summer open for activities. No more all-nighters, surviving on coffee, or staring absently at a book or screen hoping to understand. Instead, there’s home, wherever that may be, and for most of us, that means parents and siblings […] Last Saturday, I had the honor of being able to see my twin brother graduate with his associates degree…just in time for him to start working full-time this passed Monday. It was a long day since we had to wake before the sun to get there in time, but it was worth it to see […] I went to the performance by the McDaniel Dance Company about a week and a half ago and I have to say I was impressed by the choreography and dance ability of those involved. I haven’t had the opportunity to see them perform before, so it was really awesome to see what they could put […] The past few weeks have been hectic with projects and track and papers and presentations and end of semester life. Having to get everything done as much as I could before this passed Friday forced me to spend my time outside of class and meals doing homework, which was tiring but totally worth it since […] As a track athlete, I usually have meets on the weekends, but our last two meets before conferences are on Wednesdays, which means that last weekend was finally one in which I had two days to get things done and relax instead of one. I also have this weekend to do that, which is lovely […] |
