“The Elephants” by Salvador Dali

“Elephants” is a oil painting on canvas, that was painted by Salvador Dali in 1948 and is located in a private collection.

The painting uses warm colors of red, orange, and yellow to represent a sunset. We can see two elephants on each side of the canvas in the mid ground, both with very long spider legs with two monument pillars on their backs. In the background we see the sunset and mountains with a building in the middle. The pillars on the elephants backs have eyes and other weird markings. In the foreground we can see two human figures staring at each other while at a distance. The figure on the left is standing still and looks like a skeleton, the figure on the right has wings and is charging towards the figure on the left. The building in the middle of the background appears to be a gong bell, with triangles on each corner as if it was hit and is making a sound.

the stress of playing as another character

Playing as another charter for a game is fun but also stressful when you have to get into character and basically take their role and responsibilities. For a few weeks I have been having to play as Jose a character from a game we are playing in my class, on top of all the other class work I have to do you have to make sure you are doing the characters work as all. But if you’re into RPG games then I suggest trying it out when your not in school

The Dive Bomber and Tank Character Introduction

Dive Bomber and Tank” created in 1940, oil on canvas and is held at Twenty Centuries of Mexican Art, the painting uses the colors gray red and some yellow and white. It uses these colors to show how life can be gray at times and the red is to show there is always something more. These panels took me 10 days to complete and could be arranged in any order and still have meaning. It has abstract elements of mechanical warfare, but is not fully abstract, I wanted to let people interpret this how they want. My art has no political meaning i know it may look like it but I assure you it is not. I paint the life that is going on in the present and that is true modernism.

Career Expierence

Hello, thank you for stopping by to read my blog. Today I’m going to be talking about how I apply for jobs and what I am going to start doing to further better my career experience when applying for jobs.

When I am applying to a work facility or company I make sure that my resume is up to date with all my working experience and achievements or awards. I also make sure that I am confident and prepared to talk to the employer and show that I am ready to work hard. As I was in my class we had a guest come in and teach us how to have higher chances of getting a job, and good ways to start early. He has us all make accounts on LinkedIn which is a website/app that lets you connect with friends, employers, schoolmates and anyone else that you can network with. To me I’m glad I made one and I recommend it to all students who are looking for jobs to apply to. IF you start early you won’t be overwhelmed and stressed about finding a good job because you will have connections to people that can help you land a job. This has opened my world and I now will continue to build my resume and be on the lookout for jobs and internships. Until next time.

Starry Night Analysis

In 1889 Vincent Van Gogh painted Starry Night, an oil painting on canvas. Van Gogh used a mix of warm, cool and neutral colors; the light and darks Van Gogh used gives the painting a life and death mood. The painting was made during the Post-Impressionism Art Movement. Van Gogh used shades of blue, white, green, red, brown and yellow to capture the essence of a starry night. Van Gogh made the painting on a square 73.70×92.10 canvas. It is currently held in New York City at the Museum of Modern Art.

In the painting Van Gogh uses swirls to depict clouds, wind and stars in the sky. The yellow on top of the blue shows a clear contrast, making the stars and crescent moon stand out. He uses short quick fat strokes to give the sky, clouds, stars and moon a rough water-like texture. Van Gogh uses the same technique on the mountains and the tree trunk-like structure that sits on the left side of the painting, using darks and lights to give the painting depth while the tree trunk-like structure shows more flatness than depth–this gives the painting a balance of both flatness and a 3-dimensional aspect, giving it a unique style. The swirling technique that Van Gogh used leads the viewer’s eye around the canvas showing all detail; the viewer’s eye is mostly drawn to the sky with the yellow being so dominating it stand out over everything else.
