McDaniel students were teased with warm 60+ degree weather earlier this week, only for Thursday to roll around and hit us with harsh gusts and bitterly cold temperatures. I for one am not happy with this. On Tuesday, when it was sunny and beautiful, I took celebratory measures and cut up a pair of my ripped jeans to turn them into jorts (aka jean shorts aka cut-offs). And not just regular jorts, but ones sure to show off my non-existent thigh muscles, because I was super excited about spring weather and wanted everyone to know it. But then Thursday came… and I was forced to once again wear long-johns underneath my full-legged jeans. This made me sad, so I took a long nap in the middle of the day to feel sorry for myself. I suppose I can bear the cold weather for a while longer, only because it will help me appreciate warm weather even more when it finally decides to stick around. Until then, I have absolutely no clue how to plan out what to wear, or when it will be time to start wearing my velcro sandals again.
